So I was mistaken Evan did not say anything micro-aggressive to Bree he just mentioned her dead mom my bad

I'm now re-reading it. And I have questions. If Rhaz is inhabiting Evan Cooper and the very first time he's introduced he says something microaggresive to Bree. Is it just a white boy making an ignorant comment or is it Rhaz the demon who preys on negative human emotions doing something to purposely piss off a black girl?

It's starting to bore me? These hesperians are literally colonisers and every time they get referenced it takes me out of the story
