Heartbreaking

This one's a rough read, not because it's bad. But because it doesn't tiptoe around the harsh reality of what slaves were put through.

What in tarnation is even happening right now

Mmmmmm this is feeling like a possible DNF for me..... I'm not really digging the 'I hate men and they all suck' vibe going on. You can empower women without painting all men as hateful beings.. idk I'll keep going for now I guess.

I really loved the first half of this book. Like really really loved it but she's losing me in this second half... Why did this have to focus so heavily on a man towards the end. This book is called The Women?

I have a love hate relationship with this book...
