I fear things will get worse before they get better. The few things that have my brain/heart in a tizzy:
- LARA
- CANNIBALS
- SECRECY

I don’t want to like this book more, but I feel like I’m flying through it. I was worried that I’d get annoyed with different perspectives of the same story but this is genuinely interesting

I finally got tired…I feel this will be a series I fly through. I just need to get the rest of the series

Honestly the first chapter had me hooked. Excited to keep reading

It feels a little like a mystery…I think I’m enjoying it so far. This is Albom’s lowest rated book I’ve read so far so we shall see, but normally I enjoy him.

Getting into it now. Was able to sit and actually read for a bit. I like Soren, but I like Vale too

Took me a second, but I’m starting to get into it

I have resorted to listening to this on YouTube — I think I’m ready for an adventure.

Never read it before, I’m hoping there are some interesting parts…I just liked the painted copy and so I bought it. Then I felt like I should read it and here we are.

So far, Jo is my favorite for obvious reasons.

Maybe this time I’ll finish it. I got a good start — not hating the little intro chapter about the girls in the March family

“I pretend like I’m being watched.”

That’s what it feels like she is doing in Yesteryear, but I’m not sure how the more modern timeline fits in. I’m catching bits and pieces but I’m afraid it’s going to get me in the end…

I think it’s more of a mental health thing. I think she is actually super poor and imagines her life as some big grand scheme.

I could also be completely wrong. I like her and dislike her at the same time.

I think that this is either a mental thing or an ancestor thing…I could be wrong on all aspects but that’s where I’m sitting right now

Dang - I think I know the direction this book is heading in, but this first chapter could put some people in their place. Is the FMC dramatized? Yes. Does she probably actually hate her life? Yes. Am I still going to keep reading it? Yes.

Honestly I want to be done so bad. There are cute parts but I feel like it is a little predictable

I haven’t fully gotten that wow factor yet, but I have hope that as more people get introduced, the pieces will start fitting together.

Theo is making me want to give everything I have away. I know it’s a book, but dang.

Legit already teared up at this book…how am I going to make it through the rest??

Halfway through and all we’ve done is see who she can trust to get her plan going and kill random students…what???

Things are about to get serious. However, I just find myself thinking that I don’t want her with Tomas and would rather her be with Enzo or Ian…tell me I teach high school without telling me I teach high school.

I am very interested in this right now. I don’t want to go to bed, but I have to. I can already tell I would not have thrived in a society like what is described in the book. I very much relate to the main character, but she has way better control than I do.

This is EERILY similar…but I love it 😈

VERY SIMILAR to The Hunger Games — I’m enjoying the idea though. Cia is Katniss, I’m hoping Tomas is like Peeta, and Michal is like Cinna…I AM HOPING
