Never read it before, I’m hoping there are some interesting parts…I just liked the painted copy and so I bought it. Then I felt like I should read it and here we are.

So far, Jo is my favorite for obvious reasons.

Maybe this time I’ll finish it. I got a good start — not hating the little intro chapter about the girls in the March family

“I pretend like I’m being watched.”

That’s what it feels like she is doing in Yesteryear, but I’m not sure how the more modern timeline fits in. I’m catching bits and pieces but I’m afraid it’s going to get me in the end…

I think it’s more of a mental health thing. I think she is actually super poor and imagines her life as some big grand scheme.

I could also be completely wrong. I like her and dislike her at the same time.

I think that this is either a mental thing or an ancestor thing…I could be wrong on all aspects but that’s where I’m sitting right now

Dang - I think I know the direction this book is heading in, but this first chapter could put some people in their place. Is the FMC dramatized? Yes. Does she probably actually hate her life? Yes. Am I still going to keep reading it? Yes.

Honestly I want to be done so bad. There are cute parts but I feel like it is a little predictable

Starting to hit stride maybe…we shall see. I feel like I know nothing about or main character

Hey, it’s me…crying again

I haven’t fully gotten that wow factor yet, but I have hope that as more people get introduced, the pieces will start fitting together.

Theo is making me want to give everything I have away. I know it’s a book, but dang.

Legit already teared up at this book…how am I going to make it through the rest??

Halfway through and all we’ve done is see who she can trust to get her plan going and kill random students…what???

Things are about to get serious. However, I just find myself thinking that I don’t want her with Tomas and would rather her be with Enzo or Ian…tell me I teach high school without telling me I teach high school.

I am very interested in this right now. I don’t want to go to bed, but I have to. I can already tell I would not have thrived in a society like what is described in the book. I very much relate to the main character, but she has way better control than I do.

This is EERILY similar…but I love it 😈

VERY SIMILAR to The Hunger Games — I’m enjoying the idea though. Cia is Katniss, I’m hoping Tomas is like Peeta, and Michal is like Cinna…I AM HOPING

She is going to revive them and fight with her own army??????

BRO — I KNEW IT. I was waiting for freaking Loki…the signs were there. I just didn’t know WHAT the twist was, only that there was one. DANG

So many things have happened…thought I guessed right, but per usual lately I was wrong…almost to book two!

I’m enjoying it so far! I like the tension between Freya and Bjorn

Interesting so far — nothing has been too crazy but can already feel the tension

Honestly, I think it was Lettice or Griselda…just where I’m sitting right now

Need a break from fantasy so going back to ole reliable — Agatha Christie — for a good mystery. So far, it’s set up like a dramatized scandal. No one is faithful to their spouse and things are not what they seem. SUPER EXCITED.

Getting interesting, however the main characters are back in love so I’m back to skipping chapters lol I am really just here for the plot…but at the same time, I’m just really wishing the series was over

Not bad so far…did find myself skipping through descriptive parts. I thought this was only a 3 book series but turns out it is four books 🫠

Things just keep happening and I’m still not sure completely what the truth is in this book but I’m enjoying it more than the second book!
