i've just read 2 entire pages in which the hero and heroine talk politely about the weather

this may be the most boring romance i've ever read. i'm 18% in and all that's happened is the heroine meeting a random collection of people in a small town, including a hero with no distinct personality traits at all

I'm literally on the 3rd page and TWELVE different characters have been mentioned by name. Thoroughly confused even though I've read both previous books in this series.

*sigh*

35% in and the main characters have had almost no interaction with each other. Lots of positive female friendships, but zero romance.

This book might be too slow for my taste.

Oh. My. GAWWWWD. I am 450 pages into this book and the hottest thing that has happened is the female main character just said "I thought maybe you liked me. As in liked me-liked me." Friends, she is 34 years old.

I cannot. 🙄

More than 60% in and she still has a boyfriend. Not for me.

Not even one kiss yet. C'MON!

I love this book so far!!!

So far it's the heroine complaining about every aspect of her life and comparing herself to every woman she comes in contact with. Not great so far.

Not a lot has happened yet except a lot of stand-up routines, written out, word-for-word. The reviews for this are great. Am I missing something here???

Good so far, but lots of holes in this story.

She was a school teacher, but can also write a 6-page business plan for an Inn? How does she have experience in social media? She writes romance books, but we don't know for how long. After she taught school?

I hope these ?s get answered at some point.

In the span on 1 week she has 4-5 surface convos with the MMC, 0 dates, 1 kiss and she's "falling hard for him".

The texting portion in chapter 13 and I am HOWLING. Laughed so hard I cried

Great book so far, but in one chapter we are introduced to 24-26 different interconnected characters. So, unless you have read this entire series, you will be completely overwhelmed and likely lost.

Pretty slow so far, but decent. CW: There is an "Amber Alert" joke that I feel is not appropriate.

Oh, I am LOVING this book! Already snort-laughed a million times and the chemistry is 🔥!

Holy crap, this book is an emotional ride!

57% and the romantic leads are STILL IN RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHER PEOPLE. Holy hell.

EVERY GUY IN A ROMANCE NOVEL:
Smoke Jumper who is also a volunteer paramedic. Homeowner. Cooks a mean chicken parmesan.

EVERY GUY YOU KNOW IN REAL LIFE:
Getting his podcast "off the ground", won't bother buying a bed frame, plays Call Of Duty for 6 hours daily. Overcooks his Ramen.

84% in and if these two don't have sex soon, so help me...

I'm on page 3 and already NINE characters have been introduced. What the hell?
