I'm reading this at the slowest possible pace i have probably ever read a book because the main character is annoying 😭 i'm having a really hard time getting through it when it should be pretty easy to read!

I'm only about 2 chapters in and already there's too much sarcasm, too much flowery, descriptive, sarcastic words to describe EVERYTHING oh dear god i hope this improves :(

The karaoke scene is HILARIOUS i can seriously see this clearly and is a very good example of how filipinos have fun 😂

Not sure what i expected from this book but it's definitely not THIS. It sounds...preachy? And artificial? Like all the western articles written about the Philippine drug war, only written in a novel. Anyway, i have quite a bit of pages left so we'll see how it goes.

The story is interesting enough but i'm finding it hard to really be absorbed in it. Clockwork angel is very reminiscent of the character frameworks in TMI so it feels a bit...recycled i guess? Waiting for the climax and hoping it'll take a turn for the better!

The way i've read this probably a dozen times and i still love it UGH this trope, this clichè plot, imma just eat it all up everytime!
