Only a few chapters in and I already feel so much of myself in this memoir. Hewitt’s way of turning inward, using introspection to explore life, memory, love, loss, and identity through reflection rather than explanation, feels so personal and familiar. So fair, the memoir reads like shared experience. I’ve already cried (shock!); it’s both emotional and somatic. I know I’m going to love this read.
