I do not care for this book so far but out of respect for her last trilogy will finish it.

I’ve been waiting for this forever. His first novel, Private Citizens, is incredible.

I had to look up when this was written, as this is featured in the preface:

Excited for this! Loved the podcast.

By all accounts I should love this book but a quarter through it’s one big shrug of indifference. Reviews are pretty ecstatic about it so I’ll continue the slog.

I have a sneaking suspicion this is going to be dumb. But it was in the To Read pile! What am I supposed to do - not read it?

It’s so good. Charnas turns something that could be super dry into something incredibly compelling.

Also, now I know’s referenced in this line from B-Boy Bouillabaisse “I bought a hot dog - from WHO? George Drakoulias”
