An interesting read about something I had never heard occured. A sad statement of the greed and inhuman treatment of these young women who suffered greatly. Unfortunately this type of exploitation still occurs today. For example the Flint MI water crises, the burn pits in Iraq, and the 3M dumping of chemicals in the water supply in Minnesota to name just a few.
