So far, I am finding this story fascinating. How did Hitler fund his atrocious war? This is the story of a rag-tag crew of financial experts working in secret for the treasury department, desperately attempting to figure out how Hitler is funding his war machine and how to stop it. Americans who knew that stopping Nazi Germany was imperative, even if the rest of the country wanted to stay out of it.

At this point, I seriously cannot tell if Rick is supposed to be a good guy or a bad guy. Either way he’s a piece of shit.

Shit cop skirts the law in order to ingratiate himself to Hollywood types.

Twelve chapters in and nothing has happened. We get Tobias’ backstory but I don’t particularly care much about it. So far it’s a bit of a snooze. It’s chapter after chapter of Tobias wanting Cecelia and Cecelia pretending she doesn’t want Tobias. It’s not increasing the tension between them and it’s just repetitive and annoying.
