This is an interesting book for anyone interested in existentialist thought (specifically that of Sartre's famous strain).

Through the mouthpiece of Socrates, Kreeft extracts some important elements of Sartre's philosophy with an attitude of criticism and exposition that is phenomenal. The two chapters on man's freedom (potency and act) are so far my favorite.

The approach is rather interesting. I agree with Geisler and McCoy at the beginning of chapter 8 that they have represented "the atheist's" (see the Introduction of the book for what they mean by this) position in a fair way. However, the book's thesis takes a little bit to develop, and I think once you reach the end of the book the "pushing through" you did to get there was definitely worth it.
