It’s starting to pick up. This book is dense and I want it to be more succinct and get to the plot. I like the characters; there’s some arcs happening. A little mystery and curiosity - like what will the person do now vibe.

Sooooo good. I’ve been tempted to listen to this instead of reading another book. The characters are interesting, story is good, the world is unique, the spice is about to spice. The author - a fantastic writer who uses so many graphic similes and metaphors. Also, the vocabulary - I need a dictionary sometimes but I love that aspect!

Funny story - I pulled out my phone from my purse and noticed that I accidentally purchased this book with a free credit. It’s been a happy accident. The writing is good. The setting is unique. The narrator on audible is very good.
