A lot of exposition in the beginning of the story. As an aspiring author myself, we are instructed to show, not tell. There was borderline too much telling in the beginning. However, once the action happened, I enjoyed the Irish slang dialogue, rugby talk, and first crush vibes.

I don’t know why exactly, but I am not loving this book. It’s hard to connect with the characters and a part of me is confused on what’s going on.

I hate do this, but this is going on my DNF shelf 😿

I’m listening to the audiobook and it’s so good so far! I love the narration.

Kind of quirky. Giving low key psycho vibes. Also reminds me of a movie called Mother (starring Jennifer Lawrence).
