Police thriller set in Glasgow dealing with the death of a man convicted of child abuse in Scottish convents during the 1960s and 70s. We shall see how it develops.

Growly is finished with Enemy in Blue (The Cruz Marquez Thrillers #1)

I enjoyed this book. Very much a book of two halves and and an unexpected twist at the end.

It seems that there will be a sequel (this seems to be the rule rather than the exception these days). I expect I read it in due course, but I will take at least a two book break from American novels.
