Incredibly insightful. Reading in plain language experiences I have struggled with mirrored in the experiences others navigating their own trauma has been so meaningful. Learning that I’ve survived textbook PTSD makes me very grateful for Bessel’s important work in this area. PTSD is still so misunderstood and such a shrouded mystery. Talking about it like this helps; it feels like I’m getting my life back.
