Despite being a liberal progressive, my favorite president has always been Eisenhower. I sought to learn more about him and this biography delivered in spades. It’s the longest book I’ve ever read and it’s the book that has taken me longest to finish, having started in 2018. I came away feeling even more appreciation and respect for Eisenhower. He was a great man and I wish we had more like him.
