I loved this book. The characters are very real. The writer is the kind of guy who would find amusement from any simple act so the folks he meets and gets to know are elevated to the most interesting people in the room. That is a great gift.

I loved reading more about Provence and read it a year after returning from there to reminisce. I am glad I did.

I half read and half listened to this book. I enjoyed it so much part because it is about food and part because one of it's locations is Lyon, a place I would like to revisit and spend more time enjoying the food there. I recommend it.

I cannot put this book down.
