How am I crying and it’s only 3 chapters in? 😭

A book has never made me cry…until now. So good. So heartbreaking.

Okay but like him tying his jacket around her waist to protect people from seeing she messed up her pants from her cycle…yes.

My one gripe with this book series is that there is not a single example of marriage done right or done well. Alexis clearly does not have a healthy marriage so I don’t want to hear anything she has to say about marriage. Lol like girl you are still staying with your man after multiple instances of cheating throughout your relationship and marriage. The advice she gives to tabby sucks.

I’m sorry…but TAB!!! Send that lady home! Y’all are not married and you have no obligation to entertain her! It’s making you uncomfortable and postpartum is hard enough! Forget Mark and his mama!

Imagine telling your “friend” that you’re separated from your husband and before offering sympathy she goes on an angry rant about you not telling you sooner….yikes.

Being afraid to tell your man you went through his things and found medication for crabs after HE GAVE YOU CRABS is insane. This book is addictive.

I just can’t with this book. So stinking cute and relatable!

Ummm…I’m going to put this one down for now. Idk I’m just not connected to either character and just don’t care about their romance lol it’s not bad though. Sitting at like 3 stars right now.

Love so far! Really interesting and I love the culture that’s woven into the story.
