Briana is 43% done with A Spy Among Friends: Kim Philby and the Great Betrayal
Given that government at every level is a Mickey Mouse operation, and given normal human blind spots, prejudices, jealousies and aversion to embarrassment, I shouldn't be as shocked as I am by what Philby got away with for so many years. However, I can't get my jaw off the floor over this guy. This shocking story is told very well.
