Wanted to love it. Tried to love it. Maybe it’s just me? 📖💭

I’m too weak to push through.

The characters feel so delicately sketched and one-dimensional, and I can’t draw any emotions from the pages.

The story feels messy, overloaded, and unnecessarily drawn-out… I could go on for hours.
I’m convinced this is a me problem and how my brain is wired.
In theory, it’s a glorious book!

Gideon, why do you have to push me into a reading slump??
I wanted to enjoy you so much, but you keep on exhausting me…

I'm sooo struggling to finish this...

I usually love this author duo and how they approach their stories but this fells just....bland

4/5 at this point, looking forward to some action though ;)

Struggling through the pages...Started off really promising but quickly became bland and repetitive :(

75% and it still feels like I‘m reading the first chapters…so repetitive and I really dislike the characters. Going to power through though

The h is way too naive for my liking (and not in a cute way) and you can smell the love triangle a million miles down the road.

The writing doesn‘t even scratch the surface, it‘s really not for me…
