reading with my sixth graders. they are actually obsessed with this book so far and beg every day to read another chapter 🤯🤯

Yay! I completed my reading challenge for this year!

However, as I was going over it, I realized that I read classics, realistic fiction, mystery, fantasy, thriller, and horror…. but no romance.

The movie adaptation of this book is coming out next month, so I wanted to make sure I read it before watching!

been putting this book off for years but im craving dark academia

ngl the world building in the first 3 chapters was very overwhelming but i’m vibing super hard with this so far

so far this book is so english major/theater kid coded

got this book from book of the month and i don’t usually read thrillers but im excited

this is definitely not a fantasy book i normally gravitate towards, but it’s sooo cute so far!

i’m having mixed feelings about this book so far… the first part (up until she meets the grave-witch) sucked me in, and then that middle part kinda slowed the story down.

now it’s starting to pick up again, and i’m back into the story. im hoping for a strong ending to give this book a good review.
