The more Ava talks, the more I hate myself

A hard read, only continuing because I bought the book.

I skimmed till the end after 73%, I love these two but the story became so predictable afterwards.

I love that I can relate so hard whenever the parents' parts appear or how you struggle with your Islam to the point it somehow was triggering.

Although there were parts that made me feel like I've certainly grown up on YA, it is still a captivating read so far. And on the other side, there were parts that were unserious to me like noojman (?) every time he appeared I felt like skipping his parts lmao

So far I'll give it 2.5 stars because I wasn't sure if this book was real or making fun of me

21% in and I'm staying for Rafe and only Rafe.

Serafina's personality sometimes gives me the the ick, idk
