Excellent! Could not put it down. I’ve read several booke recently, that focus on women’s lives and societal expectations and the unfair struggles women have had to face in our patriarchal society. These writers giving these “everywomen” in the past (and the present) a voice. Highly recommend!

So far very good!!

Absolutely Awful. It sounded sooo good! It just meandered with dreamlike prose just page after page of overly flowery descriptions with absolutely nothing happening. The author also does this annoying thing where I think she’s trying to create tension by writing one or two word sentences. And it just creates this janky stifled speech. The ending in dumb. Also the entire book is filled with typos. So disappointed.

Hmmmm…. Slow. Not sure

Ehhh… good idea, just slooow. So slow. Soooo sloooow. It had some moments, but honestly it could have been wrapped up in half many pages. It’s also less of a mystery book and more of a novel that delves into parent/child relationships. Most specifically the dynamics of mother/daughter relationships..

Seems a sweet and cozy book but I just could not get into it and it was a paradox of nothing happening and too much happening. Waaay too many characters to keep up with although the premise was good. It was just too slow of a read for me.
