If this wasn't by a favorite author, I probably would have DNF'ed it. Hayalistan? WTF? Kind of a steep slope.

Wait, she married Morelli? When? Did I miss one?

I had forgotten that chilling period during WWI. Repression! Reminds me a bit of today, though we haven't gotten quite so bad as that period, yet.

Well written but painful! I hope our poor boy's life improves.

Looks like a good one.

Strong start, but pausing in case I am approved for the audio also.

Super interesting already.

The *best* bedtime reading material. So freaking soothing.

Already love it.

Absorbing, so full of tasty quotes. Gude has a weird idea about scientific Marxism, though. Christianity has no part in it.

Unputdownable, although I make myself set it aside when it's close to bedtime, because it will keep me up. So much to love here! Pepper. The different POVs, including Carney's wife, Elizabeth.

Audio, vastly entertaining

Damn, I love this trilogy. Don't want it to end.

Not as strong as her earliest mysteries, but holding my interest.

My audio read for while I'm gardening.

Mesmerizing. It's edging out my other reading.

Compelling!

I can't tell you how much I love this.

Wry.

Not feelin' it so far. Sticking with it.

I do hope it gets better. Right now, it feels almost like a generic Stephanie Plum, but less interesting.

The redwoods

Katherine can't see any of these characters. Now we must wonder. On the one hand, Father Cyrus and Edie are aware of them and have seen some of them, so it's not all in Margaret's head. But the more we learn about Hal, the worse he sounds. She once left a cart full of groceries in the aisle becaue the line at the checkout was long, and Hal didn't want her gone that long. She texts him when she gets there, leaves,..?

Inane. May not finish. What a surprise, since others love it, and I've enjoyed his work mightily before. Go know.
