I am intrigued!

Bah i just want this book to be over

it’s good but it is so hard to get through the lumberjack lingo in the titular Stag Dance short story

i am going to be thinking about the 2nd story, The Chaser, for a long long time

i really don’t like this 😭i dislike the writing style, the story is not interesting, it is convoluted…

i really want to like stephen graham jones’ writing! i’ve been wanting to read “the only good indians” for so long. i am still holding out hope that i will enjoy that one. i just cannot enjoy this one.

i might dnf tbh.

Very captivating! i didn’t realize how old this story was and was a little confused as to why it was written so posh! i do love how verbose the descriptions are, there are an unnecessary amount of big words and im obsessed.

i also didn’t realize how short this read was- i might be able to finish this in one sitting.

im reading like 5 books at once rn; but this one has really caught my attention! so cute and lovely

although i haven’t finished this anthology i have to mention how much David Heatley’s “ overpeck “ gripped and disgusted me. it is an unfinished comic with only 3 parts that were published. i dug for the 4th but yielded no results. david heatley, i hope you are in therapy. overpeck was honestly horrific- but like a train wreck i couldn’t look away. what the fuck was happening?! i really don’t know.
