Quirky book.

Great book

It's everything I love about Amy Tan's books.

Pretty good so far, I'm learning the roots of sensationalized journalism. It's depressing that we haven't changed a whole lot...we just changed the medium.

Done! Great story about Chinese adoptee who goes back to China to find out about her birth family with her adopted family' s blessing. When the orphanage becomes very reluctant about sharing information with her, she follows her own clues and searches out her own history.

it's a long book, and hard to get through because there's just so many little stories. But it's an easy book to pick up and put down. Life was just so different in England during World War II, then it was here in the US.
