losing my miiind

this is so hard to listen to for so many reasons

the level to which keefe can so masterfully craft a compelling narrative for a nonfiction story that is so compulsively readable while being informative at the same time is so absolutely crazy to me

this is probably not the best book for me to be reading after getting bad news as i've had like three different break downs while listening but it also might be making me even more intensely attached to albert and all the other characters

i've been putting off this book because i'm nervous put i've been finally feeling up to reading it and i'm happy to say i'm enjoying melina and azar's dynamic a lot so far. i'm still scared for the plot to kick in though

i need all christopher eccleston enjoyers of any degree to read this its so beautiful

first chapter and im already tearing up this doesn't bode well for me

hearing baby obiwan's firm beliefs that lightsaber duels between jedi don't exist because the sith are extinct hurts my soul on a deep level

tell me why this is giving persuasion so hard

the comparison to tom cruise and katie holmes has me crying considering he trapped her and their child in an actual cult

remembering why i barely read fantasies anymore bc omg im taking forever to get through this lol

the anger and anxiety i'm getting listening to this

i know most ppl complain about ali hazelwood's heroes being "big" or whatever but as someone who is just imagining all of her heroes as adam driver its a vibe

remembering why i don't read mysteries/thrillers bc i'm actually shaking with anxiety right now

ten years later and she's still that girl

eilidh stop starting new books and finishing the 14 others on your cr shelf challenge failed

this book is the most beautiful thing i’ve ever read and i can’t stop crying

this book is A LOT. literally every chapter i highlight half the words and then have to take a break at the end bc of the existential crises sally rooney is giving me. but im loving every second of it
