okay so … the book does not need to be this long. how do i have 400 left. how are they just meeting mike at 700 pages in. how stephen. how.

love the idea of stephen king just stating that he hated the hit 1986 movie The Fly within this book

ya you can definitely tell mr. king was on d**gs for most of this book

maybe if i just read 100 pages a day, we’ll be cookin

maybe reading a 1200 page book will get me out of my reading slump

loved the part talking about the curse of the albatross considering the seamen where subjected to eat albatross.

but more importantly, love the tie in SPECIFICALLY because byron’s great grandson is lord byron, and who was friends with? THAT’S RIGHT. MARY. SHELLEY.

and what did mary shelley write? FRANKENSTEIN. and what does frankenstein start with? THE CURSE OF THE ALBATROSS.
