Still feeling pretty meh about this one. It’s not bad, just very flat, and I’m not really connecting with the story or the romance. Hoping the second half changes that!

I’m loving the summer-ish Italian setting, Maya, and Connor’s sarcastic/grumpy personality. The age gap is definitely a big part of the story so far, but I actually like that it’s being addressed instead of ignored. Really enjoying this so far!

Finished Part 2! Still really enjoying the story and the dark atmosphere, even though the plot slowed down a little for me. So many revelations about Nightmare, and I can't wait to see how everything comes together in the final part!

This book is LONG. Like, really long. And honestly, I’m having a hard time putting my reading experience into words.

While I do think the second book is better than the first one, and I don’t find myself rolling my eyes as much, I’m still struggling to figure out how I truly feel about this series.

My brain keeps telling me : “This is bad… keep going.”
And yet, here I am, still reading. 😩😩

started this book thinking it felt a lot like divergent, now i’m completely invested ! tairn is easily one of my favorite characters and i’m loving violet & xaden's dynamic. CAN’T WAIT for the second half!!!
