Giovanni is such a baddie! The banter between him and the main character had me kicking my feet 🤭

“Perhaps society is actually nothing more than an individual.”

The main character is constantly living in discomfort in hopes that no one will see the real him. In the one situation he is met with the option of experiencing happiness with a woman who mirrors his sadness he runs. His fear of the pain that may come from accepting happiness has him running for the hills

This is such a cozy book! The story follows a community of heart warming characters and their journeys towards connection. If you are looking for a low stakes book you can curl up in bed with this is it!

I have followed the authors you’ve channel for years so coming across this book was so exciting! A book filled with questions kids have asked about death is such a fun concept. The illustrations in this book are a welcomed addition as well! The only thing I struggle with is that it feels like a book that was written for kids. It’s still an enjoyable read though.

I wish the information shared about each philosopher followed a structured format. As someone trying to develop a better understanding of philosophy I hoped the author would focus on giving mini breakdowns of each philosophers views. I didn’t find consistency in the information shared on each philosopher; for some we learn birthplace, how they died, occupations, or books they have published. Hope I find out more.
