I am severely struggling with the incongruity, inconsistency, and inconsequential details. I’m seriously considering putting this in a Did-Not-Finish pile.

Okay… redemption has been achieved.

I’m having conflicting feelings about the way this book is going. I read The Last Vampire series way back in the 90s. I decided I wanted to revisit the series and found it republished as Thirst. I thoroughly enjoyed revisiting the original books (republished as Thirst 1, 2, and 3). Without spoilers - Sita’s character has changed… perhaps not for the better. TBD.
