I’m trying to give this book a chance, but it feels like it’s trying to tell me what to think about a piece of art. It’s telling me this is the one way we interpret, and this is what it’s saying….thats not true. Art is subjective and always up for interpretation. I don’t need what someone else thinks the piece is saying to influence what I think.

This dude is kind of obsessed with Keats.

The second book of this series follows the first continuously. It picks up seamlessly other than a slight perspective change that makes sense.

It is like he wrote one big book, and it was split into two. Or maybe more. I hope the other books in the series follow this same pattern.

This is a book within books. I like the books within better than I like the book without so far.

I don’t normally like to do updates mid book but I just have to say..wtf. The most disturbing, interesting, twisted, clever stories I’ve maybe ever read in 100 pages alone. Sometimes when I read a book I don’t know whether it will stick with me or not. This one will stick with me. I know.
