I am 2% into this book and in awe that this author can take me some place I’ve never been, never thought of going, to meet a man I would never have met and into a feeling I have never felt…all of this in 2%. It’s so well crafted it’s scary. The last sentence I read was like the feeling it meant to convey…it was a feeling more than a sentence. In 2%. That’s wild.

I’m trying to give this book a chance, but it feels like it’s trying to tell me what to think about a piece of art. It’s telling me this is the one way we interpret, and this is what it’s saying….thats not true. Art is subjective and always up for interpretation. I don’t need what someone else thinks the piece is saying to influence what I think.
