Kinda forgot that Pierce casually knew Emerson

In my cozy fantasy era, I guess!! 💌

“I believe I said something encouraging, such as, ‘Don’t be an imbecile.’”

~Flynn Rider vibes~

Well I guess I’m just rolling with this reread, basically right after finishing the series for the first time 🤭💌✨

Spoilery, sort of…

Kind of insane how Aunt Eugenia made Emma sell all her father’s books to get the extra tuition money she needed to attend Fortitude, A Preparatory School For Girls (🥲)… but then pays for Emma to get a whole new wardrobe?? What are you playing at, Aunt??

(I get that the school was mostly for Emma but Emma having new clothes also benefits Arabella for The Season… but still!!) 📝

“They say The Roman speaks proper English because seventy years ago a professor of Latin took up the job.”

💌 St. Crispian’s 💌

“Don’t cry —“

UNDER THESE CIRCUMSTANCES? An absurd thing to say 😭😭😭

“A dreamscape, a sanctuary, the feeling of tangling with low clouds and grey wind… the glory of old stones and woods and fields finding their way to the river about me.”

“…this was the moment that my rational thought caught up with my irrational tongue.” — oh, Emma, you hilarious creature 💌

Savoring this reread! So good. Very pleased to be back at Rebel Blue. 💙

(Upset that there are some typos in this beautiful deluxe edition, though. 🥲)

That dedication? Hmmmm 👀

I DON’T KNOW HOW TO FEEL ABOUT THAT — my heart is well and truly racing y’all

“I sit at the very top of a fresh month with a choice before me, one which very well may have an impact on the whole of my existence. Which book do I read next?”

Reread in honor of the new special edition!! ⛰️

The kindness and sincerity of the gifts given to Emma in this series 😭

This is so lovely already 🌿

Tea, indeed!! 🫖🤭

Trying to listen while doing housework but keep forsaking the dirty dishes to sit and cry

“She very nearly swooned” — much more self control than I possess because I am simply teeming with swoon ✨

Starting off August with this beauty ✨

when the Duke appears it’s like 😳☺️🫣😮‍💨😉

Seems simply impossible that a mere three weeks ago I had not yet made Miss Lion’s acquaintance. Abominable. Quite pleased to have remedied that as we embark onto volume four.
