Reading this on the train on my kindle. Cant say that improves the experience.

HATE reading on a kindle! Makes reading approximately 40% less enjoyable. Anyway, this novel: feels like rooney could’ve used a stronger editor on this one.

dang... really good so far.

i'm REALLY feeling the length on this one. i love all the traveling bits and eastern european history but this author is TERRIBLE at building suspense. there's a real tendency toward verbal over-explanation that reminds me of russian novels, so maybe it's on purpose?????????
