This is so painful to read, I feel like AI would make a better story compiling every other romance novel and dumbing it down for a 14 year old romance level.

ch 19: I wondered if I would die. I wouldn’t of course. I would get home and boil noodles like every grieving mother everywhere.

And then I came home and boiled noodles while simmering in my grief, praying it wouldn’t boil over

Great to start but slowing as progress is made. Enjoying the nuance of the characters from different eras all together in one setting.

Required to return to library before finishing. Started strong but was lacking much momentum in the middle

Meh, quit mid story. I couldn’t continue; it just never grabbed my interest. There are too many good ones out there to waste more time.

Loving the flow of this story -

I'm bored by the narration- the point of view is sterile so far (1/4 way through)

Feels dark - don't want to read about molesting children🫤and hoping the storyline develops more

Need to pick up again when more time to read

Interesting character breadth - can’t quite determine where it will end. I like the different perspectives. The story unfolds like you’re walking through a dream...casual, calm development of big plot twists, and they’re all told in the past tense
