Reading with my 7 year old. I remember this book fondly from my childhood. I was Pippi 2 years in a row for Halloween as a kid!

Recommend by one of my patients as her favorite adventure. Let’s go!

3.75 stars. This was a slow burn that started out less suspenseful, and more like a family drama. The end became very exciting and consuming. I loved how bits of the past were revealed slowly and changed my perception of the main characters. Great as an audiobook!

I love TJR’s writing style. have always agreed with the concept of soulmate friends. You know who you are 😉 Solid book 3.75

This book is heavy and uncomfortable pretty much start to finish. It is full of homophobia and racism, but with life lessons hiding underneath. The character development and growth is great. I enjoy the authors direct and action-packed writing style. I will be reading more of S.A. Cosby’s books.

Great audiobook! This was not a thriller like the other Lisa Jewell books I’ve read. It was an all-absorbing family drama with hoarding, infertility, suicide and more. Weird but fascinating. 3.5 stars rounded up.

Addictive. Wondering if Freida McFadden read this before writing The Housemaid…..
