re-reading this as an adult and i’m like….where are the social workers????

this is so stupid but it is such a pet peeve of mine when basic details in books like timezones and time of day aren’t fact checked and my hyperfixation on the error ruins it for me

i took this to read in spain and didn’t get around to it so a nyc summer read it shall be

i succumbed to a reading slump but this is so heartbreakingly good

i’m finding inconsistencies and trying very very hard to not let it annoy me

the dinner table commentary on vegetarians is so funny to me

this is so so good

I’m already bored why does this read like a textbook

embarrassing how many lapsed library loans it’s taking me to finish this

I’m already irked by the use of the word “inmate” and the clear lack of research on how new york doccs functions……..nevertheless I shall persevere

I will personally pay the author to please use quotation marks in dialogue

I cannot wait to be done with this book, it is haunting me and has sent me into a reading slump and I’m ready to be DONE!!!!!
