I really love this book. It’s such a unique perspective of an older Muslim woman , who was an ex pirate, being called back into adventure.
She has a mysterious past that she hides from her daughter, and even her mom (kinda)

It’s so funny, and also they use verses from the Quran to banish a demon 😆(ayatul Kursi) it’s so so good.

Omg the MC is a fan of Legendborn too!

So interesting but it’s hard to get hooked when we’ve got multiple POVs and you’re trying to latch onto one

All this tension between Zarina and Elyria can be used in elevator cables and I’m not sure if that even makes sense, cause I nearly failed physics multiple times😆

wow can’t put this down. It’s complex for sure. Lou is working the summer at her family’s ice cream shop. It’s weird working alongside an ex, and an estranged friend. To make matters worse her father who is supposed to be in jail, wants to meet her. Hard not to get invested

Not gonna lie this is kinda hard to get into. Too many characters, most of who I don’t like.

Imagine your crush is helping you find a partner to soul bond with, so you don’t die. That’s this book and my goddddd they need to just talk!😆
