The first 100 pages has snippets of the father sharing the story of the Odyssey with the daughter Leo and that just feels very timely.

Reading this is making it very hard to watch Love Island

It’s rare I find myself reaching for a pen whilst reading a fiction book - but the prose in this one begs to be remembered

This book is just so enjoyable

I’m convinced this book will literally never end

It’s cute so far AND there are a lot of pet/animal cameos which is making it excellent

Picking this back up since I watched Finding Her Edge and it’s Olympic time. But I still am not convinced I’m enjoying it

It’s like a combination of Carrie Soto is back and Daisy Jones & The Six and I’m eating it up

We deserve to live in a world where John Green writes our history textbooks

I would listen to this man narrate anything (and I guess through much of high school I did) but wow it takes such a profound storyteller to make the history of Tuberculosis feel both compelling, tragically beautiful and heart wrenching.

Ok I’ve been reading this kind of slowly (mostly because it’s too large a book to take with me anywhere and I am scarcely home these days) but also because I was very intimidated by all the Shakespeare references BUT THEN I realized it’s a feminist retelling of Shakespeare and NOW I’m all in and it is soooo good!!! (Fear not my bookclubbers I WILL finish on time :)

I’ve been reading this book for well over a week and I’m only at 35%. And I have just decided to start another romance book. Do you know how bad a romance book has to be for me to abandon it ??? I may finish this, I may not but good god I HATE Jolene.
