The “banter” sounds more like my middle school son whining about unloading the dishwasher.

FMC has the emotional maturity of a toddler. Random mood swings, tantrums, and digging her heals into worthless arguments.

So much second hand embarrassment. The dialog is cringy. Shallow and predictable.

This girl is pissing me off. We’re watching her make stupid mistakes over and over again. She jumps to conclusions, trusts the wrong people, is rude to people who care for her, and gives the benefit of the doubt to ass holes.

“Does this mean you’ve accepted that you need my help?
“It means I’ve accepted that you’ll serve nicely as a shield.”
