Jane is almost too stupid to live. I’m not sure I’m going to read past this one.

And I’m waiting for something to make me want to keep reading this.

And this book isn’y doing it for me. I’m at 4% and already annoyed by the characters. I’m going to 86 this book.

And idk. I’m really struggling with this book because this woman who hired her is clearly mental. Gaslighting attempts all over the place!

I’m still waiting for some sort of plot to show up. I’m going to move to another book and come back to this one…maybe.

This book is annoying and is dragging. I’m about to “yeet” it over the fence.

And I have been laughing so hard at parts of this book.

Omg this book is hysterically crazy!

I started this book and have been sucked into this world. This is a fresh and delightful new book in my life!

And I’m bored to tears waiting for shit to happen. I’m going to DNF this one.

And it’s so boring I think if I had to choose, I’d watch paint dry.

This book is incredibly boring and I really hope people back then didn’t talk this way. I’m DNF at 9%. I just can’t with this one.

I’m not sure this one is for me. I’m 11% in, totally confused and a little bit annoyed. It’s looking like a DNF. No real reason other than there’s no one interesting in this book.

I can’t even with this book. “She was the patriarch” is bad enough but this is so OTT ridiculous that I’m about to DNF this waste of my time.

This book is sort of a meandering mess. I’m getting bored. Maybe it will be a DNF, maybe not.

And I’m officially confused beyond confused. There’s no word to adequately explain just how confused I am about what is really going on in this book. Is the narrator reliable? Can’t tell!

This book is breaking my heart. I keep hoping for a damn miracle of some sort and there’s another 4 hours and change to go. If I don’t finish it, this sadness will not go away, but I need a break from the sadness for a little while.

And I’m ready to kill both of these idiots. She’s too scared to say what she really wants. He’s insecure because he hasn’t let go of his issues. They don’t actually TALK TO EACH OTHER. And there’s 4 more hours of this foolishness?? I’m about to go to the next book and MAYBE I’ll finish this mess.

I’m going to finish this book. It’s on audio and the voice of the Countess is so annoying and so shrill it makes my head hurt. Not to mention she’s a sociopath and a total B. Maybe someone will drop a house on her…

Zzzzzzz…this is better as a movie. Going to DNF this one. I expected better than this and my expectations have gotten me in trouble.

Oddly, I’m hoping they find a dead body at some
point in this book. Weird, I know.

Good job, Cameron you manbaby whiner! Had another shitass attack and decided to explode the universe again. SMH. This guy can’t see that he is the cause of all his own bad life choices!

1. I really hate Elsa. I would prefer she fall off a cliff and die.
2. Maria isn’t much more likable.
3. Maria’s husband is also someone I don’t like.
4. Onassis is a jerk.

Overall, I’m not enjoying this book, so I think I’ll stop reading at 43%. I’m also finding the narrator’s voice is annoying.

Omg this book is so longggggggggg!!!!! I still have 19 hours and 3 min left and have already gone through 31 hours 12 minutes. 1,000 pages! I’ve sped it up to 1.25 reading speed because come on!!

I had to stop listening to this book because the author/main character is boring AF. It’s a DNF @ 19%. If sociopaths are bored with other people, perhaps it’s because they themselves are boring.

I need to take a break from this story with something less likely to make me want to break things due to rage.

I seriously cannot stand Alfred. Why Tom can’t see him for who he is baffles me. When everyone tells you the same thing over and over about your kid being a bully and an asshole, perhaps you need to take off the blinders and consider that they’re not lying.

This book is a bit of a chore to read. I’m bored. I’m going to DNF at 60% because I don’t really care about this book.
