It is very well formulated, shining a light on life itself and where to place your attention as you go through your day to day. It is a pleasant read to say the least.

It's not too difficult to read. It's got a good flow of words where every letter, word and sentence adds meaning to what I know to be a wonderful story. There is imagery that is used ever so cleverly and Mr Fitzgerald really does have a way with words.

debates were being held about how to handle the colonists. These debates took place in England and David McCullough really brings these historical figures to life.

I have now read of a little tale in the story that tells about a prince and his cursed diamond. Very interesting to say the least. I now only wonder how this will come into play for the book's sake.

Yes, I finished the book. It took me a while but I was eventually able to get back into it. The two lovers in the end escape the gestapo and eventually make it together to America. Not the best book but certainly not the worst either.

A man has just been killed and the main character is brought in for questioning.

It seems Truman has finally put the drinking to the side and he is now writing all his newer pieces of literature. He gets some praise but finds himself in a fued with a close friend. They ultimately settle it and he looks forward to starting off a new decade fresh.

So, Capote has a drinking problem. He can't keep his relationship with John and they're having trouble. He accuses John of steeling twenty thousand dollars and John maintains it was a gift to him. Capote enters a clinic for alcoholics only to start drinking vodka hours later of completing the program. He's getting older now and wishes revenge on his former lover. So he hires someone else to set John's car on fire.

The names, I'm finding, are hard to remember. But this Hollywood star goes by the name Frederic Stahl and he has just run into an old friend. It's someone he used to work with. Only that Stahl remembers him differently. why would he lie about what his work used to entail?

Only read as far as the protagonist's arrival to france. Interesting how he meets a married lady and gives her a kiss before they depart though. He must be very, very smooth with the ladies. We also find out that he has changed his name but has indeed become a successful actor.

I have now read up until prideaux who wanted to run away with someone elses bribe money. He wasn't very smart and got caught. I can only assume he is now dead. Enter the star of Hollywood and that's basically where I am now. It's been delightful thus far. I only put it down for a smoke.

I didn't enjoy the ending. It wasn't exactly made clear if they were on a ship off to africa or some far away place or if they were still in Foe's house. It was very confusing to say the least. I will however give it three stars.

She has moved into Mr. Foe's house and she brought along Friday with her. It's not yet clear what will happen next but she does find a girl that claims to be her long lost daughter. She has trouble accepting it's her daughter however and this is where I left off. I'm losing interest but I will continue reading until the end.

I´m enjoying it thus far. It seems perfectly plausible. I was confused at first where the island might be but he´s made it clear they are off the coast of Brazil. Maybe I missed it but the year is something of a mystery to me. Otherwise very much so gripping a tale it is.

I just read about how Truman's partner Danny didn't really fit in with all of his friends. I'm not sad for the guy. Perhaps he should have seen this coming as Danny wasn't really of the same social class as everybody else. He was after all only an air conditioner repairman. They do eventually break up with revenge added to the plot and Truman also spends a night in jail once arrivinge back in California.
