Lee becomes this almost-mouth piece of God as he explains how we assume virtue is learnt but sins are our own personal, dirty secrets we build.
I remember thinking that man can justify any evil if he just finds a reason. A half baked excuse is better than nothing. It is a salve to the guilty; relief in the midst of sin.

Other than some discrepancies in the translation, this was beautiful.

I’m smitten. The world building and the magic structure of this is pure science and fiction. It is brilliant and gripping. I can’t wait to read the rest.
