Halfway through the book and I still don't buy the romance or actively want them together... the back half of this book is really going to have to sell them as a couple--and by sell them I mean sell them hard.

I don't know how this book will end, but right now I feel like if someone wrote a book about me in a slightly different situation, the book itself wouldn't be that different. In other words, I feel called out.

For some reason book two is significantly shorter than book one?

I started this last night and so far it's pretty light, not too stressful. Perfect.

Very fun so far! I like the banter between the two main characters. It's kind of enemies to lovers, but there's enough attraction there that I'm fine with it.

I've had to update my expectations from "oh this'll be some good cheese" to "this will be bad, but it will probably be fun bad."

Why does this book think the word "premise" is spelled "premiss?"

Okay real talk why wasn't this titled "Beauty and the Beard?" Would have made it a better reference

This book spends all its time on the buildup to the 'fateful choices,' and after seeing how much longer I actually have in this chapter, I have no idea how he could possibly give the impact of the choices any time at all. Too much context, not enough actual content.

I have to read this book for a class, so damn it you get to hear me whine about it. Holy mother of run-on sentences, bat man!

This one's kind of intense so far (I mean I love it (obv, I've stuck with this series through how many books now?), it's just a lot in comparison to some of the others somehow I don't know)

This is longer than most books I pick out, oh goodness. I might have to read two books at once this time. I picked the book because the author and I have the same name.

I JUST found out that Goodreads tells you what each of those five stars means. And I have been way too nice to some of these books I've read.

I'm about halfway through and I figured I'd stop to say how much I adore the characters in this book? Not only do some of the known characters seem more dynamic through Catalina's eyes, but while I hated Rogan in the first book, I love to hate Allessandro and that makes a big difference.

I read a whole ten pages and then got distracted and started rereading some stuff... this one's gonna take a minute.
