Not sure if I have it in me to finish this book. Potential DNF

I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this book at present. It's formatted very strangely; not being in Times New Roman, and having spaces between literally every paragraph. But in terms of actual content, I don't really like either of the main characters. I understand Maddox is supposed to be a playboy, but I really don't want to read page after page of him talking about women and sex.
