Rebecca
Rebecca is starting Aspergirls
I’ve read other books that held more truths for me than this one. Read some of the other low star reviews for why this one doesn’t hit the mark.

Rebecca is starting The Grass Widow's Tale (The Felse Investigations #7)
Nice story that could have used trimming of a lot of the fluff. I started skimming after a bit. The mystery seems to be going in one direction then takes a sharp turn that neutralizes it somehow and I just kept skimming to see how it would resolve. The female lead is insightful but somewhat passive. It falls in the cozy crime category.

Rebecca is starting The Deception of the Emerald Ring (Pink Carnation, #3)
The period romance is more fun than the modern framing device (a continuation from the last book that still doesn’t get resolved) which is just distracting. The romance is predictable but Willig’s sense of humor makes it fun so you don’t mind the plot holes or anachronistic feminism or neuroses of the heroine. I like the stories about the Allsworthy sisters the best out of the series so far.

Rebecca is starting Fangirl
enjoying the audiobook the supporting characters are well defined and interesting, but the main character has a flat affect that has me wondering why people are drawn to her. The fanfic angle is cute but not well written, considering how high an estimation she puts on her own talent in that area.

Rebecca is 30% done with Neuromancer (Sprawl #1)
Gave up. I got the ambience of hard core techno sci-fi after the first couple chapters, & the plot didn't seem to be going anywhere.
