I had forgotten how much i liked this one

almost done, the 3rd book is the best. also forgot it was in 1st person instead of 3rd like the first 2. but it shows so much more of the oankali

about 100 more pages of the second book left. getting to the good parts of the second book. He has found his "purpose."
Also, this rereading I caught a bit that i was like "ah fucking gross." I hope in my octavia butler rereads it doesn't come up again or i'm gonna have to do some researching.

finished the first book. forgotten how much i enjoyed it. a couple of things i re-remembered and a couple of things I misremembered. Like that the suspended animation plants were long and green and not white and flower like (which might have been because of a cover art I had seen long ago). On the second book now and at first i remembered what i didn't like about it, but remembered Tino and how he was introduced.

I had forgotten how boring the info on the people she had to awaken was. it won't last long, but I remember it felt like forever to read.

rereading again, need to destress and escape. this is my fav book to do it to

I suspect that this is the book with the "are you a shape shifter" species. almost positive

slow going. trying to remember what happens in what book in what order.
