Just finished the first short story/section.

She’s home from the war. It’s interesting to hear about her homecoming.

I wasn’t sure about the book at first. There are a lot of different types of clairvoyant people and I’m still not sure that level of detail is needed. However, it doesn’t distract from the plot and it’s been hard to put down each night I’ve read. I see why this book has been so popular.

So far, the book is very well written. Im surprised Im only half way, it does feel like I’m coming toward the end.

I like the book so far, it’s hard to keep track of all the different religions at the beginning but I don’t think it’s necessary to the story, or at least doesn’t seem to be so far

The first several chapters describe her early life and the family she worked for who became a little like her family, especially the brothers. She likes to compete with them and you already learn that her sense of right, and wrong and duty seem to be innate. She then goes through the process of joining the ranks and is just getting her bearing now. I can see she’s already changed a great deal in 10 chapters.

Chap. 1-4. So far, very easy to read and I like it enough to continue. They’ve described the two protagonists (Harriet and Leslie) and their relationship. Big city meets wilderness.
There is a mystery brewing but I’m not sure what it is. There’s another lead person, opposite of the two women, and I don’t know what the other person is up to yet, just secret meetings.
