There sure were a lot of stories about princes and men (and the author studies Yungian concepts/ideas, Yung is also a man) for a book about inspiring women.

Cute, fun dialogue. The author gives us a huge spoiler in her forward, which I initially hated - I am not a skip to the last chapter bc I have to know the ending type of reader. But as the book went on I began to appreciate it and was able to fully relax and lean in! I’m in a super busy season in my personal life, so this fun little romance was appreciated.

3 stars only bc I love the show 😆

The show is campy in a delightful way; the books are a little more serious.

Simon somehow seems way more toxic in print.

Like a not quite as good Maeve binchy 😬😆 with a little bit of the Winter Street series / Elin Hildebrand vibe.

I can’t even with the privilege in this series, but apparently I also can’t stop reading them?! 😆🤷‍♀️
