Only on page 23 and I'm transported. I hadn't heard of Ted Walker until a few days ago. He seems mainly out of print so I've not been able to find any of his poetry books but got a second hand copy of this. Such beautiful writing and is conjuring up a country that like him I grew to love. The sun is shining outside but I feel I'm going to be happy to sit and read and taken back to the Spain of my student days.

Tempted to abandon this. It owes much to Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code which I didn't like either. The only saving grace for me is the information about Gaudí.
