I often hear the term "page turner" used to describe a reading experience. It really applies to this book.

I picked the right book this month on the Kindle First Read offer. I'm really enjoying this so far. Great writing.

I plan on finishing this, just had to take a break...too depressing

I don't know if I am going to finish this. I just can't abide aliens or their cultures that are so much like us. I get the whole premise that we are connected in the past, but there is no way that two intelligent societies could be separated by all the time and distance and be so similar. Maybe I'm missing something that is coming later, I don't know.
