Epic tale!! As good as Ken Follett gets! Like Pillars of the Earth, this story is rich in history and emotion. It follows the lives of several people in Germany, England, Russia, and the United States at the onset of WWI. From coal mines to political offices to the battlefields, it is informative and filled with personal relationships, keeping the reader turning the pages to what happens next in this saga.

Another great read by Kristin Hannah! I always enjoy her books about Family, love and drama!!
